This sign is used for the word "light" meaning a lamp or something that gives off light.


LIGHT-OFF

To sign LIGHT-OFF, hold both your hands up in a 5 handshape, palms down with wrists bent downward. This is a classifier to represent "lights." Then, keeping your hands up, close your fingers (bring your fingertips together) to show the lights turning off. You can also do this with one hand to show one light.
